Other: HI! I'm V, a graphic designer and hobbyist cosplayer residing in the eastern US. I adore cosplay and am quickly learning more skills on the sewist and prop making side. ☺ I've placed in 2nd at the Momocon Winterfest 2021 hall costume contest. 🎉 Hoping to compete in a judged competition and hone my craft even more in 2022. My upcoming cosplans include Ashura from Onmyoji and Antarcticite from Houseki no Kuni; plan to make both myself. My favorite series is Final Fantasy XIII and I hope to cosplay from it one day. Hey there! I love competing in cosplay contests and just recently got promoted to master level! I've judged two contests and have done a few online panels but never irl ones. I hope to guest and panel at future irl cons once it feels safe enough to do so. My biggest cosplan for 2022 is Lio Fotia from Promare and I hope to do a dance performance as him for a contest, which would be my first performance! (I've only ever entered craftsmanship before.) My next cosplay craftsmanship goal is to win a Best in Show!

Other: While I'm still beginner I really hope to be able to go cons again next year and and return with a bang, as my objective is go to as Ferrijit the Barren Blossom to Anime North, my main con of the year. I really hope to get her done not just because I like her design (and I like cats!) but my other thing is to get smarter with planning my cosplays out better than before.

Other: I love competing in masquerades (I'm a master). I'm still newer to hall/craftmanship comps, but have a few wins and smaller awards under my belt there. I believe you can learn something new with each cosplay you do, and try to push myself with every new project!

Other: I'm absolutely brand new to the scene though I've always admired cosplays and found them the best part of going to conventions. I'm really eager to experiment with my new skills and materials to make some interesting characters and costumes. A lot of my interest is just in challenging myself to see if I can do things, without really thinking about whether I should. :) For example, I'm considering attempting to make a latex Dr. Doofenshmirtz half-mask/prosthetic just to see if I could pull it off. a triangle head. lol

Other: I'm most known for Star Wars costumes and my volunteer work with the costume club I belong to. I do a lot of video game costumes as well, and I'm trying to get back to making my costumes more than buying them. I think I'll always do a mix of both, though.

Other: I'm a software engineer as my day job and I'm from Minnesota :3 homestuck is my favorite series and nepeta leijon is my favorite character from it, though I'm also a big my little pony fan and jojos bizarre adventure fan. I get most of my cosplay joy from doing it at conventions so I don't often cosplay outside of events. Excited to be here!

Other: I'm Arlena, a cosplayer from California and I cosplay from a variety of different things, especially video games. I also record the crafting process for almost every cosplay I make and turn them into work logs or tutorials that I post on my YT channel :) And make/sell patterns to pair with it.

Most recent cosplay you've done: the last one i finished was punk sailor venus, the last from my series of punk sailor scouts. i have one i'm currently working on though (gideon from gideon the ninth).
Other: i'm a nerd in general; i love manga and anime, but i also play tabletop roleplaying games, video games, collect nendoroids, and really enjoy reading about how terrible films got made and watching rifftrax. i love to cook and bake too. in general, my philosophy on cosplay is to do what appeals to me and have fun. if that's not happening, then it's time to change tactics.

I specialize in photography & videography since 2011 in France.
I am not particularly a Cosplayer, however, I have done a lot of work in this field thanks to my photos. I hope to be able to discover new talents across the horizons and beyond the borders. I also realize a magazine which should be out by the end of the year, I also manage the Facebook page of Cosplay MAG.
I love the staging in the realization of the photographs, to carry out an artistic direction and to give the possibility to the models that I take photographs to help them in the setting thanks to the expressions and the decorations set up in my photographic sessions.

Other: Just some Scottish metal head who's been cosplaying as a hobby for over 5 years now. I'm currently studying 3D Design/Model Making at college, and I'm hoping to gain a profession utilising the skills and talents I acquired and developed from cosplay. In addition to attending various comic conventions, it has been a great way of coming out of my comfort zone and confronting my social anxieties, so it's a hobby that really means a lot to me. Video games have also been a big part of my life growing up, so I typically cosplay as my favourite characters from video games.

Current projects: Dark Princess from Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealers (dipping my toes into the world of gem-making for this one!)
Other: Hey! I'm a transplant from Minnesota. I was born and raised there, and then got sick of the never-ending winters and moved to SoCal several years ago. No regrets! (Okay, SOME. But not many.) I still have friends and family there, so I still sometimes go to cons in the Twin Cities area as well as in SoCal.
I've been cosplaying for quite awhile, though I've only ever participated in a cosplay competition twice. I'd love to try it more often, because I love theatre and being onstage, but I don't like how much time participating in the competition eats up. I like to have time to hang out with friends, roam the halls, and attend the occasional panel.
I'll cosplay from pretty much anything. If it's a character I love, I'm willing to cosplay them! I love learning new skills and techniques. I lost a lot of cosplay momentum when the pandemic hit. During the shutdown, I suddenly had a ton of free time, but working on cosplays seemed kind of pointless and sad. I'm still not yet at the point where I feel comfortable attending conventions again, but I'm starting to take up my projects once more, so I'll be ready when the time is right! I cannot WAIT to walk those hallowed convention center/hotel halls again!

I've been cosplaying since ~2010 and competed p much since then. Since ~2017 I also started doing skits (as that's part of the higher ranks here) and really enjoyed the writing and audio/video producing part of that too.
I tend to do mostly JRPG characters, big swords and white hair is not a must but highly preferred haha. It mostly leans towards sewing, parts of armor and weapon props.
Current projects are Ardbert and my own character from FFXIV, both I'm reeeeally excited about
