Hyacinth Another view. You should cut the T-plate just enough, so that a tab will rest comfortably against the bottom of the shoe. It's easier to center the heels and it will give you some extra support.

4) Using epoxy (for metals, woods, etc.), fill the holes of the heels and then place a piece of clear tape over the top of it.

Then, place the anchoring end into the heel. The tape will help hold it into place. Trim the tape away the next day when the epoxy has dried.

Make sure to put your shoes somewhere dry and warm (direct sunlight or by a lamp). They took longer to dry because I didn't think to do this at first.

I am using craft foam to cover my shoes, so I am not too worried about how the skeleton looks.
