Kapalaka Construction Details:
I made a custom print for the top's fabric by lasercutting a stencil and spray-painting over it. I drafted my own patterns and it is lined. The skirt is a half-circle skirt with a pattern I made and modified to get the peak in the front. I sculpted the rose out of epoxy and the squiggly belt is tubing leftover from Cobheran's AoT 3D gear. I stuck a wire through it to make it retain it's shape.


Personal Thoughts:
I made Margaery in A DAY again. I love DragonCon but it comes at the worst time of the year for me with graduate school and all. I absolutely love how it came out, though, and it is one of the most comfortable costumes I own. She is my favorite Game of Thrones lady and I couldn't help but fall in love with her dinner dress. The costume designers this season really nailed it!
