This costume. THIS. COSTUME.

This was a dream costume of mine and it took me forever to finish. I had so many things interrupting my time to work on it, but I got it... mostly done.

My problems? The buttons fell off as I walked around (I used velcro to hold them on since I wanted to re-do them later, but I should've known better), a piece broke off on the bow flower (as pictured), the best way to describe the hem is "wtf", anddd I didn't finish the ruffles on the turtleneck. Other than that, it's not bad. At all. I'm pretty happy with a lot of it!

My rod was an awesome find at fabricland. It's a curtain rod that I modded and painted silver. =x I'm actually using my own hair with a ponytail extension (ily Ardenes), so that was refreshing. =x I also lovelove the bow, the back painting (you can /kind of/ see it in the picture), and the back flower.

I pretty much made this costume while watching Community (omg hi ily) and Mad Men. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

I'm so happy to be done with this costume (for now) and that I finally cosplayed GE. Everyone at the gathering was SUPER DUPER nice, including the lovely photographer! Yay GE love.
