SelphieTilmitt Photoshop fun.
  • .:Mage.Lulu:. I LOVE this costume, i planned to do one myself before i noticed someone already did it! I was never a rabid Aeris fan, and i was worried i may get bad views on it if i did it; not that i care if i do because Cosplay is an art and its all for the fun and showing off your interest and talent and i guess some just take it far too seriously in the light that you may be portraying a "beloved" character, with a sick and twisted perspective (xD AKA Dead Aeris!) But some people just need to remember that AERIS IS ONLY PIXELLS, data burnt into a disk. nothing more. Lighten up, its only a game! But seriously, i love your costume. You did it so well and i hope mine turns out just as gruesome as yours! xD *hugs* 18 years ago
  • Keshi 8D I'm kinda scared XD 18 years ago
  • SelphieTilmitt Thank you very much Angel Rinoa, Dark Arima, and Saki Jaid. I appreciate your comments very much. :] 18 years ago
  • Saki Jaid Seriously - I think this is so cool. Don't let anybody else put you down for "inaccuracies" - that's such BS because this is original. That's the one thing I really don't like about this site - you get people who think everything needs to be perfect for you to be proud of yourself or something. Cosplay is about being creative and having FUN and I think this costume is fecking AWESOME. I wish I'd thought of it XD As for whether the hair should be up or down... she's creepy and back from the dead for revenge, I'm pretty sure she can do whatever the heck she wants with it! ^^ 18 years ago
  • DarkArima I absolutely adored Aeris, even crushed on her... but I still *really* like this costume. It's an interesting twist on the usual. My wife, however, gives you a super double thumbs-up, since she "couldn't stand her." So there ya have it, two people on either end of the spectrum who think this is both thought-provoking and clever. Booyaka. :-) Art doesn't have to be technically accurate to have value - in fact, go too far in that direction and art loses its soul. 19 years ago
  • Angel_Rinoa Awsome! Aeris came back from the dead and ready for revenge! :D 19 years ago

  • SelphieTilmitt Merf. Yes, scary Aeris. *doesn't want people to go 'grr' for her costume* *sits* 19 years ago
  • eventer_stl As previously stated, this costume is ultimately an original interpretation. As far as I can tell, there is no inaccuracy. What is there to be accurate about when it's not based on a reference image, but rather inspiration? Who's to say? And morbid? I'm pretty sure there have been worse. It's graphically artistic. Not trying to push anything, I'm just think there's no real reason to point fault at a based original. 19 years ago
  • Adella *.......fear...* 19 years ago
  • SelphieTilmitt I know that, but then again.. she was not seen this way in the game... so it doesn't really need to be that accurate ^^ but I have pondered doing it with the hair down too. 19 years ago
  • kyandi-chan aside from the weird grossness of it all...when aerith was put to rest, she has no ribbon holding her hair together...so this actually doesnt make too much sense. but then again, she wasnt bleeding either. When she was stabbed, the materia came off of her bow and her ribbon came off. so, if you ever want to make this rather morbid costume accurate (uh?), then you should wear your hair down. creepiness. 19 years ago
