kiniru_no_usagi This is an outfit I made for my fashion design class at RISD (Rhode Island School of Design). The concept was to make an outfit out of a material that is not fabric, and not typically used for clothing. I chose origami cranes. It's named "Firebird" because on stage it looks like she's going up in flames.

It took FOREVER to make each and every crane. Unfortunately, the pictures I have of the outfit don't do it much justice. I think it looked way better on stage in the fashion show than in the pictures I took of it.

The model is my friend Hannah.
