Limeyaku
Sadly leaving his potato peeler at home, Jokers next defense is the ferociousness that is Catwoman!
LimeyakuThanks!!! The body suit was originally a normal round neckline, i bought some extra pvc and made a tube or collar big enough to fit around my neck and actually attached it to the suit with the white stitching. I suppose it might have been easier to sew it on first and then to the deocative stitching but i was too lazy to do two steps! hahaha And I put the back zipper all the way up the neck. :)
It's a very high turtleneck but I didnt attach it to the mask. There was no way I was sewing through rubber...though come to think of it now, I could have done that first before I attached it to the suit, since I did use my machine to sew the zipper onto the back of the mask. Ah well...15 years ago
LadyVailenBest Catwoman cosplay I've ever seen! It's so accurate amd looks amazing on you. May I ask how you did the neck area? I struggled so much with mine that i just gave up on the neck bit xD15 years ago

Ranma 1-2..clever little kitty. ;) That's a great solution. Stiff enough to stay in shape but not too stiff to cause severe cuts by accident.
Yep in the movie she raids things from her sewing box, seam rippers mostly, and some sewing machine bobbin cases. You get a pretty good view of her claws when she grabs Penguins tweety from the bird cage. Also I have some ref pics in books which show the claws fairly well.
Again, I really like your solution. Looks good and is very practical!16 years ago
LimeyakuHaha no, i didnt use seam rippers....first of all, because i couldn't tell thats what they were. I only used internet video for video reference and they werent clear enough...and going into the club, i wanted something that wouldn't actually make people bleed if i scratched them by accident ( which i did ). I used those little metal duo tang things...with the two bendy parts you fold in opposite directions to hold the papers in. I cut the ends so they were a little more pointy and just crazy glued them to the thimbles. This way i could bend them to look how they should be bent and have either 1, 2 or 3 spikes on each finger. :)16 years ago
Ranma 1-2I think your Catwoman costume kicks ass. You even got the thimbles and claws details on there. (did you use real seam rippers for them like in the movie?)
I can tell you researched this costume exeedingly well. It's an amazing costme. Really well done.16 years ago
