Kukkii-san This insane spiked ponytail is supported by foamcore (craft foam) for the spikes, as well as a "top knot / ninja ponytail" superstructure to make the whole ponytail stick out like that.

Unfortunately, the cosplayer did not send me clear reference images of the back, so I didn't realize (until it was too late) that King Varian's ponytail is supposed to be much longer. We still liked the result, though.
