clembastow I was SO thrilled with how my "prawn" arm turned out. Even though the 'claws' could have been a little longer, I still think it worked well.

It was built up over a rubber glove base (!) in layers of duct tape, tissue, more duct tape, then liquid latex and black tissue paper, and finally Aquacolor and more latex. Oh and a nice sprinkling of dirt ;-)

The blood is my special recipe: Home Brand chocolate sauce, a bit of red cordial, and red and yellow food dye. It flows well and "scabs" up nicely.
