Guess who made another Giselle costume! Oh boy oh boy, I think I do!
THIS IS SERIOUSLY THE MOST COMFORTABLE DRESS IN THE WORLD. I don't know what I was THINKING when I cranked out that wedding gown, because I want to wear this everywhere. And I did. Until 3am. BECAUSE I COULD.
This was specifically made for my friend Vikki's Enchanted spoof skit at Otakon this past weekend (we won Best Overall Craftsmen, fancy that!) And those designs were not painted on. I drew/colored them all out on paper, scanned them into my computer, printed them out on fabric transfer sheets, cut them out individually, and IRONED EVERY LAST ONE on plain blue fabric.
I don't care if it took her 5 minutes to make in the film. That girl is a dirty liar.
If you don't get the title, that's fine. I just listened to too much Genki Rockets on the ride down.

- AllenGale I want to make this dress too! I don't want to steal your thunder but I want to make Giselle's Wedding Dress for Otakon 09 to take pics with some of my friends. I want to challenge myself! I don't know if you saw me but I was Belle from Beauty and the Beast in both her blue dress and her ballgown on Friday and Saturday. And yes, Giselle might be a quick-rusher, but if she can get NYC's vermin to clean a whole apartment in the course of 3-4 minutes, then maybe making a whole dress with their help could be vaguely attainable.
