Liliana I revived this cosplay from the grave 3 weeks ago and BAM! the progress is taking off like a rocket! @O@ This cosplay is going by much quicker than I expected. I 'tried' to attempt this cosplay a year ago, I spent 3 days (I'm guessing) cutting it all out, got frustrated, threw it into a wall, and shoved it in the back of my cosplay drawers and closet and left it there for a whole year. XD Now I dug it up, and here it is now. I'm very pleased with this!

This dress is by far the hardest thing I have sewn yet. Especially when I don't have a pattern for it OR mannequin. -.-;;; So I cut out the WHOLE THING whilst I was wearing it LOLLLL XDDD But hey, it seemed to have worked. It was just freak'n ANNOYING! XD

The whole dress is also completely lined. I'm not done painting the design on the dress though. The back is pretty well finished, but I still want to color in the lines thicker with gold.

The little armor parts are taking the longest to do... So far, I counted out over 440 little pieces of craftfoam and posterboard, and I'm not even half way done yet! I bet there will be over 1,000 pieces that I will yet have to cut out and glue altogether...

And the headress is like, 90% done. I wanna color the feather in more blue, and add more gold design to the armor part.

So yes... I am confident I'll get this done in time for Anime North this year, so I got about 2 months left. The way how this is coming along, I should have it done by the middle of April, or at least that is what I am hoping! ^^ Eeeeee~ I'm very excited!
