kaatsumi This is the front panel of Yukito's costume. I used two shades of gold fabric paint to match, but brighten my trim. I also used two button that were antiqued so as not to be too overwhelmingly shiny. My trim was also chosen to be sand shade rather than gold to avoid being to bright -- I just wanted to evoke a desert feel. Although there is some gold thread woven into border, but only a hint.
