Limeyaku's image

Limeyaku I was so so so so nervous about the ripply-ness of the pvc suit at first. I wanted it to be as close as possible, and that meant pretty much having a second skin...little did I know that after 15 minutes of dancing, the pvc would stick to me like saran wrap on leftovers...YAY!
  • Bunnjamin definately the best looking cat on the street...and i love your backdrop for this picture...makes the shine jump right at ya!...oh and i guess it's sexy too ha ha! check out my prince of persia and sandwraith outfits! mlar latrix 14 years ago
  • Ranma 1-2 Yeah now that you mention it, a latex rubber Catsuit might feel easier to move in but it has to be oiled to make it shiney. So PVC has its advantages. :) 15 years ago
  • Limeyaku ah movie magic...haha i feel proud that i did what was meant to be in the movie ( her making it of a pvc raincoat ) even if it lacked movement a bit, the overall look in the end was more than i could've hoped for. i would've loved a latex rubber suit but i don't think i'd like to be oily like that to any public event. xD lol 15 years ago
  • Ranma 1-2 I only recently found out that Michelle's movie costume was actually made from latex rubber and oiled before each shoot to make it appear glossy like PVC. Explains why it fitted her so tight and she was still able to move so easily. 15 years ago
  • Limeyaku Thanks!!!! the top half was fine...the legs were a bit tight ...since it didn't have much stretch it was hard to bend them too much. i must have looked like a 90 year old the way i had to climb onto that ledge, swinging up one leg at a time lol 15 years ago
  • tamahomegurl SUGOI!!!!! =) That suit literally fits you like a glove! =) Was it hard to move in since it tends to stick to your skin? All in all, you are a HOT Catwoman, girl! =) 15 years ago
  • Limeyaku negative! it WAS cold and when the outside of the pvc got chilled, it felt like i was naked outside! XD sooooooooooooooooooooooooo cold. 15 years ago
  • Lady Muramasa Awe you look so hot as Catwoman, indeed it does stick to you as you warm up. Lol, it's good against the cold weather too, if it happens to be cold. 15 years ago

  • Ranma 1-2 Ah thanks for the tip off. (The reason I'm so interested you probably guessed, I want to make one of these costumes. I hope it turns out as good as yours.) 15 years ago
  • Limeyaku And just to add, Christi, the suit was $45. :) 15 years ago
  • Limeyaku Thanks, all! Christi, I didn't try it on, I got it online from an amazon store that sells Leg Avenue products. I just got a small and hoped for the best. I had to take in a lot of the seams to make it more fitted but it all worked out in the end. :) Ranma, yes, exactly. At first when it's cool, the reverse side being fabric moves against the skin and it slips and scruches...but I guess the outside being plastic, when it warmed up it just STUCK to me. I had to go to the washroom once and i had to literally peel the entire upper half off. @_@ 15 years ago
  • Ranma 1-2 Wow, this looks like the real deal! please explain "I was so so so so nervous about the rippley-ness of the PVC suit at first" Does it become more taught on you as you warm up? 15 years ago

  • Alitheia It looks great. If you don't mind me asking -- How much did you pay for the PVC suit ... and did you get it online or try it on in a shop? xx, Christi 15 years ago
