Well, with my belt looped through it, it seems to hold up well. Tested durability, stability while sitting down and everything, and seems to work. ^_^
saiyan689That's because I don't just use crapboard. It's just for shape. I use hard cardboard as my base, which is strong as thin wood. And I'm guessing when you made your first one, you didn't actually putting and fastener and securers for the inner layering, which is why it bent. Don't worry dude, I've been working with cardboard for 4 years, and it's never failed me. You just gotta know how to work with it and improvise.16 years ago
Mist Daeis the backing made of cardboard? if it is, you might want to put something a little more sturdy as the backing, i made my first one out of carboard and it bent within the first hour of the con, really annoying. i redid it with a plywood backing16 years ago
