Tenshi Musouka
I just realized that I forgot to include my sandals and new tabi socks in the picture ^^;; oh well. Here is what I have done so far. As you all noticed im sure. I JUST got my real Sakabatou in the mail ^^
This Sakabatou is HAND FORGED out of HIGH CARBON STEEL!!! Do you know what that means? It means this is the real deal! Not just a metal sakabatou... this is an actual sakabatou, hand forged for combat!
I cant wait to finish this one! All i have to do is that triangular pattern along the collar. Check out Kaliko's Kaoru preview if you havnt yet! I tried to set up this shot to be similar, but alas, I dont have anywhere near to her photoshop or photography skills. ^^;;

- Tenshi Musouka The stripes were sewn on the Hakama. The ones on the hakama-shita were painted. Kaliko and I are planning to wear these VERY soon to March TAC. Expect pictures up in about 2 weeks. 18 years ago
- Eleryth Wow, such attention to detail! The lines are all so straight and eerything. And I like how I can see pleats all the way down in the hakama. You're obviously spending a lot of hours and money on this one, and it really shows. The stripes on the hakama impress me most! Are they just fabric paint, or are they sewn on? 18 years ago

- NiGHTmaren Damn I want to see this all completed and in action! XD You did a beautiful job, the stripes are so perfect. I decided not to make this costume for a long time now, instead I'm working on a special secret not to be announced quite yet version of Kaoru that I haven't seen done very often. ^.^ And it's taking forever just to make the sleeves...=_= 18 years ago

- kaliko_rosa Wow!!! Awesome Jay! Dayum, you're so much farther ahead than me with your costume *sigh* Yeah I still haven't seen your new tabi.... but wow, that sakabatou really is quite pretty. I love how well you did the stripes... on both sections, they look so flawless. The fabric paint looks so convincing, like real fabric... and I the stripes for the hakama blend perfectly with the original fabric. Excellent, excellent work. 18 years ago
