Mangochutney Haydee is a walking work of art, and this costume is currently a walking heap of scraps.

It's supposed to be; I started on this with the very specific intention of clearing out my scrap bin in an orgy of applique and terror. So here we are just out of the starting block. This is the worst it will ever look: everything is looking up from here. Wooo!
