The longer I work on this thing, the more I notice it slipping away from the formal Elizabethan aesthetic into some crazy tropical wonderland whatsit. I keep being tempted to stick bright gold snakes on the big vine-stump things and birds on the huge alien mushroom flowers.
What do you think, would it look good? Liz would probably disapprove but eh, what does she know.
