Scoti I'm really proud of how this turned out, I don't think I've done this much hand sewing in a long time and took a lot longer then I thought. All 4 patched were done by hand plus all the top stitching, it was relaxing but time consuming. I want to make some accessories later like the dark wings and some kind of weapon. I have a habit of being stuck weaponless.

Just as a technical note the weird "spotlight" effect was a result of Amy (Amy the yu) and Chelo (?) playing around with the gold reflecting thingy and trying to blind me with it (I suppose it's an alternative to using a flash? Shows what I know about photography) . I believe it was their goal to make me look stoned in photos as I struggled to keep my eyes open XD

  • stillvisions The reflector sorta works like a flash, but has a few side benefits - it's got a warmer tone which helps with the skin tones, but it also lets me shoot at a higher shutter speed (with a flash you're limited to 1/250 of a sec or so) to "turn down" the light level on the rest of the scene. Turn on the effect enough, and you can make it look like night. It's a lot easier to keep some blue in the sky and not wash out the background with light that way. So that's why mister blindy gets used... well, that and to torture people in photos and make them look stoned XP Hopefully get the rest of the shots up sooner rather than later... 17 years ago
