brightling The raised details are all glued here and you can see the carved detail on the top of the breastplate. Its carved/sanded from carving foam and smoothed with wood filler! I put a piece of a bamboo blind embedded in the back of the foam to keep it rigid and prevent the foam from splitting under stress at the con. The backplate is missing several of its details yet because I need to sew the cape into it before it can be finished.
