kaliko_rosa This one I'm still working on, but I did finish one of the central parts with the overlapping white feathers on coloured feathers.

This was the hardest jewellery piece to make so far. The original necklace I purchased had brown rope and wooden beads strung through, it looked really tribal. I wove white rope around that to give it the braided look of Neytiri's necklace. Then I added in the feathers. The feathers I have are the typical dollar-store kind, so to make them look accurate I had to trim them then jazz up the trim a bit to look natural. I found small white/brown feathers that looked like the ones she has at the very front of her necklace. I hot glued these onto a red feather backing, and placed them ontop of yellow, like on the original.
