Ginryuu It's time to being teaching the students about dueling...and Lockhart has chosen Snape as his demonstration partner. Unexcited and annoyed, Snape reluctantly accepts. At least this is a good opportunity to show what somebody who is truly suited to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts is capable of. And just as expected the opportunity arose. The two professors took their positions in front of the second years, settled into their respective dueling stances, waved their wands, and with a bright flash Lockhart was flat on his back.

I COULD have gone and looked up what was written for this scene in the books...but I didn't. I made it up. If it really bothers you, feel free to post what was really written or whatever. I just felt that this would work better anyways since I wanted it from Snapes point of view.

Anyways, this was one of the shots that I had requested be taken at Oscar's Wondercon shoot. I came across screenshots of this pose so many times while looking at reference it just stuck in my mind. I also loved how the shot came out! I played with it a little bit to make myself separate from the background (and fix my broken wand again) but that's it. Kinda not happy with how the coat bunched up at my neck there...but can't do much about that now unless I re-make the entire thing...which I won't. I just made it fit me a little to snuggly is all.
