So I was planning to go to Sakura Matsuri '10 and decided that rather than cosplay, I wanted to go a more traditional route and wear a yukata. Of course, being me, I still had to be a character, so I chose Rena, since I love her wig to death. 8D I was originally going to try to find a yukata close in color/pattern to one of the kimono/yukata she wears in official artwork, but upon seeing the one I ended up with, I fell in love, so I decided to go with the color scheme of her school outfit instead.

I'm aware that I was not wearing my yukata correctly at Sakura Matsuri '10 -- it wasn't bundled enough beneath the obi, and the right side is under the left (meaning I'm a corpse, lol). I got dressed with help from a friend tying the damn thing on me from memory in a Penn Station bathroom, so yeah. But as for the corpse thing, Rena is from Higurashi so it kind of works, no? 8D;;;

WIG: Amphigory's Honest in 27/26e with a red Sharpie tint. Was originally for Rena's school outfit. ($0)
