Quorra - Tron Legacy
Tron Legacy
Description
My Quorra costume was constructed by me. Chest and arm armour constructed from scratch out of craft foam, cardboard, styrofoam and tons of super glue ;) Suit and identity disk are made with reflective tape. These photos are taken with flash photography which create the light up effect. I am currently working on lighting the suit for the movie premiere December 2010.Photos

carladawn great job!!!!!!!! best quorra cosplay!
rinya GORGEOUS! I haven't seen the movie, but you look just like the character!
Katiedid Your costume is amazing! I'm making a Quorra costume and I'm trying to figure out the best way to make the armour, because I only have one month to do it! Do you have a tutorial or anything anywhere on that? I'd love some tips if you'd be willing to share them!
xZergg This is amazing...
T3Knikolor This is spectacular! You look perfect!
Annissë This reflective tape did not come with any sticky backing. I super glued all the pieces on. It was a pretty difficult costume to make. At least the chest, arm armor and the boots were ;) but totally worth it.
awagoner1 this is amazing!! What of reflective tape did you use? The iron-on variety? or the stick on? I'm looking to make a Quorra costume but don't want to mess with the lights.
Ramen Pirate YOU. ARE. AMAZING.
TheZan I don't know if you've tried this for lighting it, but have you tried running an EL wire on top of the reflectors and covering it with a white layer thick enough to diffuse the light and look like a lighted panel? I dunno if it would work, but if it would light up the fabric, you'd have the complete look even in the daytime, especially if you use UltraBright EL wire. If you try it, let me know please. I'm interested in how you constructed the armor. I'm trying to make a Sam Flynn version (or any generic male TRON character really) for Comic Con San Diego 2011. If you wouldn't mind helping me out, I'd appreciate it.
HelmetOk Hi there! I´m out in Chile right now trying my best with the resources that I have to make a passable Quorra costume for Halloween. I think your costume is amazing! Do you happen to have a pattern for sale, or any tips to offer? You can email me at [email protected]!
scarepandabear I have been trouble finding good reference images for the front of the suit, near the hip area, how did you manage to find adequate reference images for the whole suit? Also I would look into El-wire for lighting your suit. It comes in a variety of colors, like light blue, and if you know how to wire it correctly, you can hide the inverter box (in one of the promo images, you can see a little box thing under the disc on her back, perfect place for the inverter). thatscoolwire.com is where I'm getting mine. Good luck!
Annissë Thank you and I am ;) I really hope to have my suit light up by then!
Purified Ace Hi! Vortex here from Tron-Sector. This is amazing! Keep it up! Wear it to the premier!
deshwitat EPIC XD
