DescriptionSkids from the 2009 Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. I've always been a hug fan of robots. This is why this movie rocks my socks.
The project is only partially completed. It debuted at Anime North, in Toronto, Ontario on May 28th of 2010, but unfortunately, it was incomplete. The legs weren't finished and I didn't properly pad the inside of the torso. I spent the whole day with one bent back ear, and the torso sat too low on my body. Made my neck to visible.
Maybe I'll complete it and wear it again, but for now it sits in storage. The entire thing was made by using reference pictures and WAG-ing the measurements and proportions. It's also really hard to wear.
For fellow cosplayers:
The mask is mostly made of hand carved pink insulation foam, a cheap plastic mask and the top of a plastic bowler hat with lots of duct tape underneath. The eyes are DotIt push-button LED lights. Sadly, I had to buy two $10 packages just to get two blue ones.
Lily-chan Great job! I especially love how you did the eyes!

bossbot Beware of me. I will be nonstop fangirling over you. Transformers is one of my biggest obsessions and this movie kicked some major ass. Mudflap and Skids were two of my fave characters in the movie (since they're so hilarious) and just do not be surprised when I ask for hugs. LOL!
