I started making this costume the Tuesday afternoon before the convention, after buying the fabric very, very late on Monday night. This was a true task of speed sewing and all-nighters. I was actually sewing at the convention, minutes before prejudging, which is something that I hate to do. (I like to have everything set by the day before I leave for a convention) .
I didn't use any patterns- the pants I made using chef uniform pants as a basis, and the shirt I made using what I had learned from a cosplay panel at a convention once and scouring the internet for tutorials. The cape was kinda winged, and I plan to change it before I wear the costume again.
