Well I have been going on this costume for a week now, working diligently to finish it. I redid my hibiscus flower today and started on the staff. The skirt I bought from Ebay worked out perfectly after the fabric paint was added. The rest has been interesting. I got some white cotton fabric scraps and yellow stiff fabric scraps at the local Hancock Fabrics and so I was stuck with only those fabrics for my obi, shirt, and sleeves. I used fabric paint on the obi, bought at WalMart and pink food-coloring for the dye on the sleeves. The ribbon in the sleeves came from an old dress. I made the bow out of 2 hangars and wrapped the fabric around it.
