jubilleus as Jill Valentine

Jill Valentine

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles

Cosplayer: jubilleus
This was made under so much con pressure!
I bought the watch too but unfortunately I lost it--'
it cost me around 60€
I also love this uniform and I got most of this cosplay just getting things off Ebay:)

I always loved Resident Evil and finally i'm starting cosplaying it:)

Making research about this costume I was getting surprised of how much pricey it would end up. I had to buy a cargo pants, holsters, belts, patches, military boots, a beret, a wig, gloves etc because I actually didnt own any of the stuff above.
i started then making a list of all the things I could make myself or found in my house and I hopefully was able to cut down the most expensive stuff, the boots and the cargo pants:)

Wig: I had to buy two because the first one had a very diferent style of the picture. The second one I cut it and styled the bangs, when I put it on I look like Velma but when I put the beret I looked much better:)

Beret, Holster, belts, patches: Bought on Ebay, they were a bit pricey(beret and holster) but I can reuse them in any other cosplays so a good investment;

T-shirt: bought on Continente and added the patch on the right sleeve., it was hard to find a t-shirt with that color, neckline, plain simple and with regular sleeves;

Cargo Pants: They are so expensive on-line and locally I couldn't find anything. I then tried to make them myself and although they aren't very accurate neither have they pockets I like the final result.

Boots: this type of boots were almost 100€ in almost all gothic shops I looked. Hopefully my sister used to be a gothic in her teens and she had this boots, it even had some inscription of the army in them so they must be the real deal. They were quite old but nothing that a new pair of laces and a lot of wax cant fix;

Shoulder Pads: They were actually quite easy to make. I made the pattern in my shoulders, traced it in a yoga rug, cut it and and then made the same in the fabric and later fitted everything together. The straps came from a few bags that I had no more use for.
