Gun Mage Yuna
Final Fantasy X-2
DescriptionBelieve it or not, this was relitavly a simple cosplay. The shirt was a modified haulter top that took 2 hours to create and the designs were painted on, which took me 1 hour and 35 minutes. The shirt in total took 3 hours and 35 minutes. It's made of dull satin fabric. the neck portion is attached with velcro and old hooks that came from one of my old bras.
In terms of the skirt, I created it by sections. The belt portion took 2 hours to create and made of satin fabric. For the skirt itself, it's made of 4 panels. The frist panel is made of the dull satin fabric, same as the shirt, and took 15 minutes to make. The second panel is made of light blue polyester fabric that I already had and took 2 hours to create. The third panel is made of the dull satin fabric, same as the shirt and first panel, and took 15 minutes to create. Lastly the fourth panel is made of the light blue polyester fabric, same as the second panel, and took 30 minutes to make. It took 1 hour to put all 4 panels together to create 1 skirt. The painting of the designs on the second and fourth panels took 2 hours. The skirt overall took 7 hours and 30 minutes to create.
For the gun, it's made of cardboard and Wonderflex, along with wire and a toilet paper roll. It took 6 hours and 20 minutes to create. The necklace is made of Model Magic that's painted. It took 1 hour and 30 minutes to create. In terms of the gloves, they were bought at Claire's at my local mall. I dyed them in a purple and a red dye bath with iDyePoly fabric dye. Me personally, I wished my local art store where they sold the iDyePoly had the pink, but unfortunetly, they didn't know when they were ever going to get the pink color in stock again, so I had to make do with a red color. So it's not horrible, but the pink would've been better. I then added some leftover maginta fabric at the ends as separate pieces.
Lastly, the boots were bought at my local Goodwill store for $7. I painted them with this formula: 60% paint 40% matte medium. This formula was provided by fechan. It took me 5 hours to paint.
So, the Gun Mage overall took me a total of 24 hours and 15 minutes
