Dark Mage Yuna

Description

This is my first attempt at anything like this. I tried to get as accurate as I could, but I know I am not 100% accurate. I broke the cosplay down into manageable sections: the overcoat with the crazy sleeves, top, skirt, hat, and pink over belts.

The hat: I followed this tutorial http://ildustbunnyil.livejournal.com/2581.html and then covered the hat with fabric. It is attached with hot glue.

The overcoat beads are actually styrofoam balls (because I couldn't find large enough beads) painted gold. The darker parts are actually marine vinyl because I wanted it to remain stiff.

The top and skirt are the blue and purple with a strip of dark blue.

The over belt again is vinyl, but stretchable so that walking can be comfortable. I found some silver buttons that attach the belt to the skirt. I still have yet to make it stick on fully.

I have yet to make the Nirvana staff, but have all the stuff for it: foam, a broom handle, beads and ribbon.
