This is my first amour project.
It is made mostly from 6mm plastazote, heat formed to get the curves and very carefully joined together with impact adhesive. There is wonderflex in strategic places, mainly the boots to strengthen and help maintain the shape.
The plastazote was primed with several layers of PVA glue to seal the foam and then sprayed with a metallic blue car paint. The red flashed added using masking tape to cover the blue.
Overall this was light but restrictive costume. The 6 inch platform heels used to create the illusion of the feet were not comfortable to walk in, made worse by the fact that I had almost no flexibility once the boot/leg covers were fixed in place. Helmet was very restrictive making hearing difficult, as well has almost completely obscuring my vision.
In order to see out whilst also maintaining the design shape, there are two tiny little slits to see out of, not nearly enough.
Hard work but pleased with the outcome.
