This is actually my first cosplay ever. The wig and tail were my favorite parts, if not solely for the fact i was told that there was no way I could get the desired colors using the Sharpie dying method.
I really only ran into one major problem and that was the shirt I had sewed for the cosplay. I didn't get it done in time to wear it straight to con, but I figured I could finish it in the hotel room before touching up my make up.
One of the girls I was rooming with asked if she could borrow a shirt to wear since it was extremely hot and I always pack oodles of clothes. I said sure, and retreated to the bathroom to put in my green lenses.
The girl has a much more ample bust than I and found the almost completed shirt, deciding it was cute. She decided to try it on.
I could hear the rip even though I had the bathroom door closed.
I was lucky that I had this dress packed away, just in case I decided to wear this cosplay another day.

it wasn't perfect, and you couldn't see the lace shorts, but it worked in a bind.
