My Jessica Jones cosplay, worn during Day 2 at ALA 2016. Here are some costume specs:
Materials/Construction:
Boots (Altered)- Removed decorative straps, added eyelets, added cord lacing, and aged with sandpaper/paint.
Jacket (Altered)- Removed sewn-in belt, added epaulet detail with material from removed belt, removed several decorative snaps, raised lower hem four inches, replaced front zipper, took in side seams about an inch, and aged with sandpaper/paint with dry brush.
Jeans (Aged/Distressed)- Distressed with sandpaper and faded with a combination of white paint/repeated washings.
The gloves, scarf, and shirt were purchased at thrift stores (with the exception of the scarf). The wig is an Arda Vivien in black with the curls straightened a bit. Make-up was done by me as well.
