From the moment i got hooked to MF, he's da 1st male character i love ..haha....i dunno why but i have got weakness for bishies who pilots mechas LOL And his Valkyrie is damn cool and i love the independent streak in him...not everyone can stand up for his own belief and live it out...



I had a HARD, HARD, HARD time portraying him cuz i admit that i am not physically and aesthetically cut out to cosplay bishie guys and guys wif emo personality like his @__@ His cosplay takes da cake for being the MOST "camwhored" cosplay i have ever done...i was so afraid that i would screw up his cosplay, tat i kept camwhoring till i m happy >.<



Another challenge would be the makeup for Alto...i am not used to putting on guy makeup, so i take the shoot as an experiment on male makeup...i dunno if it works or not cuz i havent seen all the pix yet but i do know i have to work on my foundation cuz in some pix, i looked tanned *faints*



I reuse some of the leftover red strings from Kamatari's kimono to make Alto's hair strings...



As for the boots, it was a steal cuz i juz so happened to stumble upon a uniform shop selling those boots at a mall near my house :) And i got it for a pretty cheap price for such pair of boots...hoho



For the cargo pants...oh God...i went on a massive cargo pants hunt in Penang and i thank my lucky stars i could still find such cargo pants of tat colour and design! It seems tat cargo pants for girls are getting outta fashion >.< I cant wear guy's cargo pants cuz it would be too big for me...



I bought the light purple singlet from FOS..and tat oso i had to buy a 2nd one to get the right colour...it was very very hard to find a singlet of that colour everywhere @__@



Next would be the heartbreak SMS jacket....i initially commissioned the jacket from my tailor and the end product was 3 inches shorter than i expected...i guess part of it was my fault cuz i didnt know tat my cargo pants sit on my hips rather than my waist, hence the grave mistake...



I was debating wif myself whether should i redo the whole jacket but i didnt initially cuz i dunno if i could finish it in time...



Then, one week b4 my shoot i redo the entire jacket in one day LOL Da CRAZIEST thing i have EVER done...i think i gave my Michel, hito a scare wen i told her i cannibalised my SMS jacket LOL



Wat i did was to trace the pattern of the jacket my tailor made onto the leftover cloth and sew it from there...i oso traced the pattern for the red design on the jacket and reused the leftover red cloth from my Arashi costume...



Then i unpicked the sleeves from the jacket my tailor made and attached it to the jacket i made...I handsew the whole costume cuz my sewing machine was being cranky >.&lt; It was a sewing frenzy cuz i rushed the costume and i could not finish sewing the badge cuz my fingers were very sore and painful from all the sewing i did...i sewn on the badge the next day instead...



I am very proud of the jacket i made cuz it's finally of the correct length...i know i m being anal here but i feel the cosplay looked better wif longer jacket...



For the wig, i bow to my wig styling master, hito for styling the wig XDXD...i had to say, the wig looks horrible wen i 1st got it and after the 2nd round of trimming and styling, it was fantastic! I love it to bits! My only grouse would be tying the ponytail and making sure the ponytail wont drop @__@ I will work on it for next month's cosplay...
