Sorting Hat

Description

This costume was quite a feat - not only is it my first time making a mascot-like costume, but it was also my first foray into fabric painting and I made it in just two nights to boot. I am very pleased with the result given those considerations, but had I been given more time, the shading/shadow features would have been much better, as well as the whole thing being much more detailed. Of course, what really matters is that she LOVED it.
