The World Ends with You
DescriptionI originally made this costume for Anime LA 2009 in the span of a week. It sucked, so I completely remade/repatterned the shirt and styled a brand new wig.
The pants pattern was a commercial pattern that was tailored a bit for fit and the flared-leg look. They're made from stretch suede, with hip pockets and a single accordion patch pocket added to the back.
The base shirt pattern was drafted with the PatternMaker software, then heavily altered manually for fit and styling with a hand-drafted collar to go with it. The fabric is cotton sateen that was tub-dyed with Procion fiber reactive dye before being sewn up.
I love my shirt.
I want to make an orange sleeve for my cell phone, though.
