Contrast fabric: Forest Green Suede Cloth (Heavily interfaced at the neckline and sleeve head)

So this costume has been laying in pieces inside a Ziploc baggie for about 4 years -.- I decided to get it to a wearable state for AnimeFest 2011, but since I started to interpret the mess that awaited me inside that bag the night before the con, I didn't finish a few details (like the green arm bands). Other than that, I'm decently happy with how this one turned out. Construction wise it was really straightforward. I altered and lengthened a Vogue pattern for the sleeve (which is basically just a giant rectangle with casings sewn for the elastic), but the rest was just your typical princess line dress. The shoes were some teal heels I had lying around by Poetic License, the belt buckle was a mystery find in my notions drawer, and the necklace was a pendant I bought at JoAnne's.
