DATE COMPLETED:
-February 2017
THOUGHTS:
-This costume was made in collaboration with Cut/Sew patternmaking. They kindly provided the Sugar Witch pattern for me to review. I had been wanting to make something from Madoka Magica for a long time and this was the perfect opportunity. The pattern can be found here: https://www.heycutsew.com/products/012-sugar-witch
PHOTOGRAPHERS:
-Webyugioh
CONSTRUCTION:
-Bow and neckruff were made from black and white dotted calico that I dyed red to match the character design.
-Cape was made from red stretch sateen with a frog closure.
-Jacket was made from twill with a button closure. I used a different shade of brown for the sleeves to better match the anime design.
-Skirt was made from pink cotton.
-The mask was a last-minute prop made from a paper plate with a chopstick taped to the back of it.
-Wig was my old Megumi wig from Purple Plum.
-Boots, leggings, and undershirt were purchased.
