The Little Mermaid

So much fun!
This costume was a fairly last minute decision. Several friends were putting together a Disney villains group, and I couldn't resist getting involved. Plus it was an opportunity to do another makeup intensive costume.
Most of this costume was bought and/or altered. My original dress idea fell through, so I ended up deconstructing one of my old prom dresses and throwing some purple accents in it. It was fun.
The necklace and earrings were burchased from Etsy. The seller was just lovely, and can be found here: http://www.etsy.com/people/MidnightMoxie

Makeup is Kryolan Aquacolors, and took about 3 hours to apply. I plan to make a couple adjustments next time I wear this costume (add a little shading to my face and collarbone). Plus, I forgot to add her mole. I STILL can't believe I did that. :((

The wig is Marty from Arda Wigs, styled a bit to spike up the front. Although I like most aspects of this wig (it's absolutely beautiful, and had great coverage in the front), it was a bit thin in the back. It may have had something to do with the fact that it was a white wig, but it seemed to have a lot of extra space, and it was easy to see my hair through it in the back. I had to style the back half very carefully to hide it.
