To debut at Wondercon 2016 :) This is probably the most expensive and time consuming costume I've ever put together, save for Boushh XD It will also entail even more glitter and rhinestones than Elsa.

[x]Bodice: Sunshine hand-dyed 100% silk dupioni layered with duchess satin from the skirt for a perfect color match. (I love the shimmery effect from the different shades of yellow in the silk!~) I also hand-dyed piping to match (albeit just a smidge darker for it to *pop*) There is also hand stitched gold braid trim, a large sequin and rhinestone floral applique, and a very small antique gold, rhinestone and pearl applique. In addition, I hand applied rhinestones and pearls, and a finishing touch is aurora borealis rhinestone trim, along with cream colored seed pearl trim along the outer edge of the collar. Fully structured and boned with steel and spiral steel. It will lace up the back.

[x]Sleeves: I originally made the sleeves with matching organza from the skirt for the sheer effect from the movie, but it ended up not draping very well and I didn't like the final result. I plan on re-patterning them for a better shape, then re-making them with a pale yellow chiffon and hand-stitching the hems this time around for a cleaner finish.

[x]Skirt: an extremely full twirly daffodil yellow duchess satin circle skirt with four top layers--the first will be golden fairy dust crystal organza, the second will be sunshine yellow glitter dotted swirl organza, the third will be sunshine yellow glitter organza, and the forth will be pale cream/ gold rhinestone swirl organza. 28 yards of fabric will go into this skirt, not including the petticoat. I'm aiming for a floating, glittery effect :)

[]Skirt effects: I'll be installing 90 feet of fairy lights into the duchess satin layer of the skirt, which will be diffused by the organza layers. I'll sew pockets into the duchess satin as well, to hold the battery packs.

[x]Bows: Pale blue duchess satin with tulle to hold their shape. I also hand applied ~300 rhinestones and pearls.

[x]Crown: a fosshape form covered with matching silk brocade with tiny swarvoski crystals and a medium pearl and gold beaded applique. Trimmed with pearls and pearl flower trim. I'll use combs to attach it to the wig.

[x] Wig: A dark henna Ashley wig from amphigory with an additional curly clip ponytail sewn in for fullness. I had to tease the ever-loving heck outta the front for that Don Bluth bang swoop.

[x]Necklace: glass pearls, swarvoski crystal beads and silver seed beads.

[x]Petticoat: a small two hoop petticoat.

[x]Shoes: I took an old pair of kitten heels that were pretty beat up, and I used four different shades of gold glitter to cover/coat them in a subtle ombre fashion. I also hand applied matching rhinestones and pearls from the bows and adding a small piece of matching aurora borealis bead trim on the toe from the bodice.
