Hey I had to remember that the hair style worn for the Parade Dress of Episode I is going to be a bit more complicated than I thought and I can't find any good tutorials on how to create/ style it. *Note: I plan to use my actual hair instead of buying a wig because the last time I tried to style a wig it ended up as a hot mess. :dunce: *.

Can anyone make a decent tutorial or send me a link to one? Thanks!

I wish I could help but I know nothing about hair. Please you must wear the Amidala to NYCC on Saturday (if you are going) I will be in my Darth Vader with the 501st legion and would love to get pictures with you. I do a reveal version and would love to get a picture of you removing the upper mask.

I made his costume...it was a TON of work. I did the hair with a wig though. I couldn't figure out how to do it with my own hair. Do you have someone who can help you with it?

I used this tutorial to help me style my wig: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LXnNxMO0bw

If you are still wanting to use your own hair, I would probably pull it back into a pony tail, then section it out into five sections. Spray each section heavily with hair spray, then loop it, then secure back towards the middle of the pony tail. Tuck in any loose hairs and spray it really heavily....like with aquanet or something so that the loops stay up.

Good Luck!!
