Well, I just attended my first convention (DragonCon). It was a last minute decision and I didn't have the time or money to pull together a proper outfit. So, with it having only ended days ago I am getting ready for next year! I was hoping to take this year to put together something I could really be proud of but also wanted to look in to suggestions from people with experience in Steampunk. It is not something I have done before but I find the style to be breath taking. My attempt would to be one of my favourite Marvel comic characters: Deadpool. Below I have listed some of the common questions I see asked by costume commissions.

Budget: $200-300 (This is a guess as I have never had anything commissioned)

Material: Pleather (But I would love to hear recommendations)

For those out there who have had outfits made, any suggestions on who I should contact for this creation?

Thank you!!

Hey SadieMass,

I am wanting to help you with ideas for this but I need to have a think first. So just letting you know I'm trying to work something out.

Hey I think you are going down the right road with this. I would probably get a deadpool morph suit and then style over the top of it. Ie, get a corset in the right style that also fits with deadpool and a similar thing for some goggles boots ect. I would have a look around etsy and see if there is someone on there selling something similar, or buy the pieces and put them together to create your own. Have a look on ebay and etsy for corsets and accessories.
