hey guys!! I'm getting ready to cosplay Ryoko from tenchi muyo!!! (my first anime crush you feel me). I got a pretty good handle on styling wigs, but I need some advice to achieve her huge nice chunky spikes!! I was thinking maybe doing stiff foam pieces but they won't be long enough maybe?? any help appreciated!!

This would be good for the short/fluffier spikes

And then there's the extreme for super long spikes

Youre going to want to use upholstery foam or craft foam for the spikes so if they get bumped they wont crack. You can even make craft foam into cones if you need too. (Michaels sells large rolls of craft foam if you want bigger than the sheets). You could also use felt as a base to glue fiber too
