The reason I ask is that I have a wig that is already styled with curls and such, and don't want to lose them.

Obviously if I do the usual method with tea dyeing, I put the wig in boiling water, but that'll bring the curls out.

So is it possible to dye the wig by letting the water cool say to 50 or 60 degrees C and dipping the wig in then? I assume it'd take longer but I only need to take this white wig to a really light ash blonde (it's for Elsa).
