Hi everyone!

I'm planning to cosplay Princess Yōko from Bravely Second.

As you can see her coif is deceptively simple and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to style a wig to look like that.

I have a straightened Ferrari from Arda with the color I want and I have two packs of short wefts on backorder. I did tons of research on Japanese hair styling and attempted to style the wig as-is but I think I'm going to need to reweft and add wefts somehow to get it to look right. (I wish I could have gotten an Arda Chibi with this color but it doesn't exist, and all of Epic's oranges are too dull.)

What's stumping me is how to get started. I know what I'm going to do for the hair accessories and I'm fairly certain I know what to do for the ponytail, bangs, and fringes, but the flips on either side and hair bumps in the front and at the nape are what I need help with.

I was considering creating a wig cap out of papier mache or fabric (buckram? fosshape?) shaped exactly to my head, creating armatures, and ripping out the wefts of the Ferrari to glue/sew on there.

Any other ideas/advice would be much appreciated!
