Stein (Soul Eater) head screw

  • Neodymium are the strongest magnets you can get your hands on. But for it to really stick the magnet side would need a large surface area. If too small just a small bump will knock it off. Yet if the surface area is too much pulling it off would be a little difficult.

So it's all about how you space the magnets in relation to the surface area.

    I hope this made sense.

  • Screws and other media passing through the wig won't destroy it if you prepare the wig properly.
Once you determine where the screw needs to go, prep the wig cap by painting some nail polish or clear acrylic medium (thats paint without the color) on the area where the hole is going to go first.
Then glue or hand sew some little scraps of inner facing or fabric on the inside of the wig cap around the area.
THEN poke the hole for the screw through these reinforcements.
If you are unsure, you can sew around your hole with some whip stitches or a buttonhole stitch for one last layer of reinforcement.
Attach your horn and you are good to go :)

I would go easy on the glues because they dry stiff and cam make the area itchy, hand sewn stitches won't do that.

All those layers don't add significant bulk, but will pad the wearing of the horn(s) somewhat, making it more comfortable of the course of a day.
