Wondering if you can get ultrapreme from somewhere else other than Yaya Han's line?

Given the limited results when you search "ultrapreme", that might be tough. That said, I bet you can find something really similar if you start looking at stretch vinyls or stretch PVC.

The ultrapreme is 15% spandex and 85% poly with 4-way stretch, so you'll want to be looking for similar blends. I'd try Spandex House, Spandex World, and maybe more upholstery-oriented stores to see what you can do.

Good luck!

Yeah, "ultrapreme" is a brand name exclusive to that line, there isn't a general type of fabric weave called ultrapreme. It's technically a knockoff variety of neoprene, but not as thick.

For finding a substitute or better fabric, Stars' advice is on the nose. Not so much upholstery but you want to look at those two shops and others like Fabric Empire for whatever variety of stretch vinyls they carry, then get a swatch to see if it mimics the matte finish the way you want it to.

The closest thing I can think of to "ultrapreme" is matte pvc or stretch vinyl.
