I wanted to invest in a spray gun kit for cosplay. I'm a little overwhelmed by all the options out. I know that I want to use the spray gun for spraying fabric and cosplay props made from EVA or worbla.

Mostly, I'm looking for recommendations to see what everyone has used and worked for them.

Thanks!

Spray guns and air brushes (possibly what you meant) are a "you get what you pay for" item.

If you have no experience using one, see if you can rent or borrow so you know what you want to look for and what fits your budget.

Also, Consumer Reports is worth a read.

TL : DR not something we can answer, too many variables involved, mostly dependent on your taste and budget.

this vid is from 2016, but the recomendation is still valid for the "cheap" end

recommended unit is just under $100 but you can buy used for $65+

ezvid wiki has good recommendations aswell, and they keep lists updated

mid range kits will be $200+ high end units at $400+

when shopping the term spray gun will likely find units meant for house/fence or car painting
air brush should turn up the smaller detail painters youll be looking for
