Hello! I am looking to cosplay N from Pokemon. I purchased a hand-me-down wig for this! It's a jade green Jeannie for this.

However, N's ponytail is low rather than high, so I was wondering if there was a way for me to sew the ponytail into the base of the wig (after detaching it from the clip) maybe in order to give the ponytail more length as well as more volume?

Does anyone have experience doing this? I can provide photos if necessary.

Please keep in mind I don't have the time to order a straight up weft from Arda! Thank you!

Yep, it's possible! The clip is basically made of some mesh with the wefts attached and a drawstring to pull it tight around the clip. You can put the base wig into a low ponytail where you want the extension to sit, take the extension's clip off, pull the string tight to bring the wefts into a ponytail "bunch", and stitch it over your little ponytail stub and to the wig (make sure you go through both sets of wefts so it actually stays on, and you'll have to pin well and carefully while you work). Alternatively, if you can find a smaller, square-shaped clip, you can just switch that out for the great big ones they use on the extensions so it'll hang more correctly.
