Need help deciding on a vocaloid dance/character

• So the next con I'm going to has a strange cosplay contest setup. There's a craftsmanship cosplay contest, and then a talent show. No actual skit category. My skits normal involve dialogue/ some sort of "plot" and I don't think that'd fit well so I figured I'd do a dance.

I'm pretty sure I want to do Lily Lily Burning Night (I know most of it) , but I'm also considering Bad Apple!! (which I just starting learning).
I can do Lily Lily Burning Night on my own but I'd need a partner for Bad Apple!!, and the person who said she wants us to do it together isn't the most reliable :s

And then I have to decide on a character. I like Piko and Maika but both are above my current skill level. So I have the option to either attempt one that I like but run the chance of not being able to finish it, or choose a Vocaloid/Utau with a simpler design.

Any suggestions/advice?

•
I don't want to sound like a bitch or anything but I'd advise you against doing a dance if you aren't a professional/have some way to make it interesting.
A lot of dances are seen at skit/talent parts of shows and especially over done/popular ones can get monotonous to watch even after the first 10 seconds.
If you can somehow incorporate something into the mix that makes it more interesting then maybe you could still do the dance? But I seriously advise you to not just solely do a dance cover.
We can't do actual skits. It's really either sing, play an instrument, dance, or don't do anything. The person who runs the con says "we don't want skits like that because we don't want it to be associated with a cosplay contest" when I asked about doing one of my normal skits.
So all this advises me to do is drop out of it.

• Eh, at this point I'll probably end up not doing it anyway. I'm having so many issues with this con already and it's still months away. I don't wanna keep asking questions :s
If anything I'll just do it as multiple different characters. Maybe that's either a good idea or a terrible one since it'll just add to the repetitiveness of the whole thing.
