I've finished constructing, but I would like some feedback on the colors/weathering/etc.

I think you nailed the coloring...especially on the belt. The only color that seems off to me is the pouch. Rey's is darker. As far as weathering, it works well without it. If you are going to do it, I would just go for some even "dirt" smudging, but not any ripping or tears, since Rey's costume eventually got dirty, but never looked frayed. A lightsaber prop would finish it off nicely.

Thanks!! I'll definitely dye the bag darker. As for props, I got the blaster to tide myself over until I'm ready to drop the money for a graflex (go big or go home, right?), but I forgot to include it in these photos.

Thank you for the feedback! :]

I agree that I think you did a great job overall with the colour. I think your material choices were good, too. I like the way the garments hang. I think the main thing that detracts from the authenticity is that it looks too new. It doesn't look as if it has been worn everyday for who knows how long.

I agree with ZannyGeek that it needs to be more worn and dirty, but not ragged. You could try running it through the wash a few times or wear it as lounge clothes around the house to help break it in.
